2005. Goldie Hawn, Susan Sarandon
An iconic moment in Western history is filmed in this movie. Hawn and Sarandon are sitting in front of a billboard with a Got Milk? ad, echoing an earlier picture taken of them in their groupie days in the 70s - a picture of them in front of a billboard protesting the American presence in the Vietnam war. The scene implies that Hawn and Sarandon are trying to catch back the feeling that they had in the 70s. AND it is an oblique indictment of society's focus on the inane.
I also love the irreverence of Hawn and Sarandon, this film is not for the stuck-up.
